CrossFit by BodyFit will be holding our 9th Annual Memorial Day Murph on Monday, May 29th at 9:00am. We will run 1 heat at 9:30am.

The “Murph” is open to all athletic levels and abilities. You can do the full “Murph” as RX’d, 1/2 “Murph”, do it with a partner or team, scaled movements, or just come watch and be a part of our awesome CrossFit family!

**Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.
This workout is in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. From here on it will be referred to as “Murph” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.
At CrossFit by BodyFit, we do this workout every year to honor, not only Lt. Murphy, but all heroes that serve and have served our country.
